Great Things from the Week
*Thank you for taking the Engagement Survey, last count we had 35/45 employees who had taken it...36 now, thank you Carlos!!!
* Thank you for your participation in our Staff Meeting with Ann Masters, more opportunities to come. 
*Thank you Jess and Anne for your Growth Mindset and willingness to visit Corona Norco 
* We had visit from the Health Department and we passed with 100% Congratulations to Josie and the team!
*TK went on a field trip, thank you Pam for taking our students to explore the community. 
*Thank you to the STEP team, I know we have some rough days but I appreciate your endless dedication to students. 



I am so grateful for all of you and your hard work, I really appreciate all you do. As we move into the Holidays the students and adults (mostly me) become restless and excited. Let's remember our WHY for the kids.

NUTS and BOLTS
Tuesday Active Intruder Drill (lock down) - Please share with your students that the Intruder drill is just like a fire or earthquake drill, we practice for safety. It is important that students know what to do!Let them know what time the lock down drill will occur and remind them of expectations. DO remind them they are safe, and the drill is to help them be safe in case there is someone on campus or in the neighborhood that shouldn't be. DO NOT talk about shooting  or guns, that is not the purpose of the drill. 

Drill: 
A lock down call will come over the intercom. 
 Turn off the lights, lock the door and duck out of sight. 
An all clear call will signal end of lock down.
DO NOT evacuate the classroom.

We will be having Coffee in the Community Tuesday morning 7:15-8:00. Please join us, the parents would love to see you

Super Tiger Assembly November 16th
Holly Gainer will be leading the assembly (Thank you Holly) - Each grade will be called up. Each teacher will present their Super Tigers, Perfect Attendance and Honor Roll. 


The next round of Math training are starting. Please make sure you attend, these are mandatory. #mathgoals - Even balance of Teacher and Student talk. Manipulatives open and out and being used.

There are a few teachers who still need to complete Digital Citizenship lessons/paperwork. Please get this done...(you know who you are)

11/13-11/16 Gratitude Week See fliers for events and what to wear!

11/12 - Holiday 
11/13 - Coffee in the Community (Please join me from 7:15-7:45, they would love to see you)
11/13 - Active Intruder drill (lock down) 1:15 pm (duck/cover/out of sight, hold until you get the all call - we do not evacuate the classroom).
11/14 - Kinder Data Day
11/15 - Kinder at Eureka
11/15 - 1st grade Data Day
11/15 - Clarissa off site after 3 pm
11/15 - Clarissa off site until after 12 
11/15 - Super Tiger, Honor Roll and Perfect Attendance
