It is with a heavy heart that we say good bye to Shannell, Meaghan, Alma and Christina - We are excited for you new adventures but sad to see you go. Thank you for all of your service to Harrison. It truly takes a Village, we couldn't have done it without you.

Please join us at Yard House on May 28th at 3:30 to cheers the next step in their lives. 

RETURNING MATERIALS?
Please make sure if you are moving or leaving you are returning all materials to the library. Please do you absolute best to return all the items that support your curriculum as these will be passed onto some one else. Missing pieces can be very frustrating. Please sign up to return items, do not just show up, it will help the process go smoother for all.

END OF YEAR ASSEMBLIES
Lori placed in  your boxes, a copy of the attached schedule for our last day of school, Thursday, May 30.  Parents are invited to attend our last day assemblies.   I will give you invitations for students receiving Honor Roll, Perfect Attendance and RFEP awards.    Teachers:  It is up to you to invite parents of students receiving Accelerated Reader or 100 Mile awards.

Last Day of School   

End of Year Assemblies:
(Note the times)
Kinder                 8:00 a.m.
Gr 1st/2nd             8:35 a.m.
Gr 3rd/4th              9:10 a.m.
Gr 5th/6th              9:45 a.m.

Parents are invited to attend this end of year assembly
where the following awards will be distributed:
Ø Honor Roll                                     
Ø Perfect Attendance
Ø RFEP Medals
Ø Accelerated Reader
Ø 100 Mile Medals
Ø Lori will give teachers personal invitations for students receiving Honor Roll, Perfect Attendance, and RFEP.
Ø Teachers:  You are responsible for inviting parents of students receiving Accelerated Reader and/or 100 Mile awards.  Please Dojo or call them.

  
No morning recess

Lunchtime:
All students will eat at 10:30 a.m. 
Only lunch buyers will go to the cafeteria.  After eating, they’ll return to their classroom. No playground.  Teachers will remain with the rest of their students in their classrooms. 

Dismissal is at 11:15 a.m. (11:00 a.m. for Spec Ed)

Student files can be started now, remember you will need to do Ed Cards and Report Cards on the last day so plan accordingly. 

End of year Check Out- There will not be any check out sign ups. On Thursday May 30th (the last day). As soon as assemblies are done I will come by all the rooms before the bell rings and check out your rooms. If you are not ready, I am here all day and I can come back. If you need additional time, I will also be here Friday May 31st. Please plan ahead so you are ready for SUMMER!!!
Student files do have to be done BY FRIDAY MAY 31st at the latest - Amy has to finish her side of the work before she leaves for break. 


Please do electronic "Yard Sale" - Please do not bring items to the lounge - If no one wants your treasures, please discard or donate offsite. If there is an RUSD bar code talk to Shelley first. 


Staffing and Construction Update:

For those who are moving- you need to put all items in boxes and write on there where items will be moved too. Mark all furniture that also needs to be moved. - You are NOT expected to move any items. Just pack and unpack. Moving will take place the first two weeks of JUNE






*Rooms 3,4, and 5 have to be completely empty for construction

*Rooms 1,2,4,5,6 We will start the year in these classrooms and move into portables after a few weeks. 

Please see Lori for boxes and tape when it gets to be that time.

Please Make Sure Your Report Cards are Done By Monday 5/20 to be checked!!

5/23- Choir Performance 7:00 pm
5/24- Retirement Party 

Next Week:
5/27 - Holiday no school
5/28- Yard House @ 3:30 to say good bye
5/29- 6th Grade Promotions
5/29- Full Day Wednesday - dismissal at 2:05
5/30- Last Day of School - Dismissal at 11:15 - Everyone please walk your students out and make sure they get out safely. (Report Cards go home)

*Once you are checked out  you are free to leave, please make sure you take all valuables home or lock them up. Campus will be open until Jun 14th.

Site will be closed from June 14th-July 22nd
